Based in beautiful Victoria, BC, Maximum Prototyping Inc. has gained a following from a number of dedicated clients.

Serving Victoria and Western Canada for over 10 years, we are known to be the go-to source for plastics and sheet-good manufacturing.

We have some of the best clients around. We have developed deep relationships with many like-minded businesses across Vancouver Island. We’ve found good communication and collaboration is the key to success.

Our unique approach is to drill down to the core, to really understand our customer’s goals. Once determined, we are able to step back and apply the best mix of processes to meet customers intended goal.

COMPANY HISTORY

2011

Humble beginnings

Like many great startups, Maximum Prototyping was started in a garage.
With one machine, we began to take on small signage jobs.
2014

More Equipment

As we honed our skills and took on more projects, it became apparent that we needed more equipment. We added a large 5ft x 10ft work-area machine to our library.
2018

New Headquarters

As we became the go-to source for CNC machined plastic products, our client base grew, and we needed more space.
We moved to a new warehouse in the Keating area of Central Saanich. Along with the new space, we also purchased a new CNC router with features that would increase our throughput and quality.
2020

BC and Beyond

We now manufacture and ship products for customers across Canada.
We’ve build lasting partnerships with dedicated clients that have allowed us to bring our offering across Canada and beyond.
2021

More Equipment

Great news for our local economy! New clients are choosing our local shop rather than oversea manufacturing. Keeping our dollars local keeps our community strong. Due to this increased demand, we have added additional equipment to our shop and have increased our throughput.

Jordan Mikkers

CEO and Founder. - DipEng. Mech.

As founder and CEO, Jordan has been fully involved with the business since its humble beginnings in 2011. Now, with over a decade of experience in prototyping and manufacturing, Jordan has a proven track record with executing multiple mass-market projects. His passion has always been finding and building relationships with founders and inventors of like-minded businesses and products.

Gerald Mikkers

Partner

With decades of experience managing large commercial projects, Gerald brings extensive array of insight to the team. After supporting Maximum Protoyping for many years, he has since transitioned to building homes and completing commercial tenant improvements within his newly formed company Mikkers Developments Inc. While Gerald is working full-time on his building projects, he is still a trusted advisor for Maximum Protoyping.

Eric Little

Manufacturing Engineer

Eric is a key part of our engineering team. His proven expertise in design, prototyping, and manufacturing has aided in the successful completion of millions of components. His deep understanding of mass-production techniques allows him to optimize designs early saving time and money in the long run.
